Scranton, PA - Cabrini College's Kerry Anne Farrell scored two goals and Erin McLaughlin had a goal and an assist to propel the visiting Cavaliers to a 3-1 win over host Marywood University Saturday afternoon in CSAC field hockey action.  The visitors improved to 4-6 (2-0 CSAC) with the win while Marywood, who got a goal from Molly Westbrook, falls to 1-10 (0-1 CSAC).

Farrell got the visitors on the board just 9:36 into the game when she one-timed a pass from McLaughlin past Marywood's Natalie Winters for the game's first goal.  The Cavaliers doubled their lead in the 18th minute as McLaughlin scored unassisted on a 15-yard strike that bounced over Winters and into the cage.

Marywood made things interesting seven minutes into the second half when Westbrook took a feed from Julie Kowalski and finished it with a one-time backhand.  The Cavaliers got an insurance goal and went back up two on Farrell's second tally of the day.  On a penalty corner, Kylie McDevitt intercepted the pass and fed Farrell who finished to make it 3-1.

Winters made nine saves in the loss including one penalty stroke save.  Cabrini out-shot Marywood 20-9 on the day and had a 14-2 advantage in penalty corners.

Marywood is back in action Wednesday when they travel to Aston to take on Neumann University at 4:00 pm.
