Scranton, PA - Marywood University rallied from a 1-0 first half deficit and Victoria Pezdirtz made nine key stops as the Pacers tied with visiting Cabrini College 1-1 after two scoreless overtimes.  Marywood moves to 3-5-3 on the year and remains unbeaten in the CSAC at 3-0-2 while Cabrini slides to 4-3-4 and 2-1-2 CSAC.

Cabrini got on the board in the 17th minute of the first half when Dana Peterson took advantage of a loose ball and put it home in an empty net.  Pezdirtz originally saved a breakaway on the play, but the ball bounced off several defenders after and found its way to Peterson for the game's first goal.

Marywood held off several other dangerous chances from Cabrini in the first half and would eventually tie the game in the 56th minute.  Kimberly Vogan dribbled into the 18 and then slotted Elizabeth Carlson who went on a short breakaway before beating Marissa Jenkins to level the score.

From there, each team had several chances, but both goalkeepers were up to the task.  Jenkins tipped a Alixandria Fiore direct kick over the crossbar and Pezdirtz made several "power dive" saves to keep the game at 1-1.

Cabrini held a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal. Jenkis made four saves, while Pezdirtz finished with nine.

Marywood will host Rosemont College in another key CSAC battle Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
