Volleyball Drops Two at Cabrini Tri-Match

Radnor, PA - Marywood University women's volleyball dropped two matches in straight sets in defeats to Cabrini College and Richard Stockton Saturday at the Cabrini Tri-Match. The Cavaliers deliver the Pacers their first loss in conference play, dropping their record to 11-6 overall with a 2-1 record in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. 

Marywood fell to the Cavaliers by scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-16. The Pacers' Ashley Zalewski had five kills to lead the way. Kelly Chadwick yielded 14 assists, and Rachel Tollett posted 18 digs.

Cabrini's Danielle Carrozza had just two kills less than the entire Marywood team with 15. Michele Fitz had 12 kills. The Cavaliers held Marywood to a zero shooting percentage while posting a .277 of their own. 

Marywood let two closely matched sets fall in a 3-0 loss to Richard Stockton. Richard Stockton defeated the Pacers by scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-12. Mikayla Bristol attributed a team-high eight kills, and Kester added seven. Chadwick assisted on 25 points, and Tollett totaled 11 of the team's 31 digs. 

The Pacers only had three digs in each match. 

Marywood returns to the court Tuesday at home versus Cairn at 7:00 pm.
