Clarks Summit, PA - Daniel Hull broke the school record for goals in a single game in Marywood University's 5-1 victory over Baptist Bible Thursday in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer play. Hull scored four goals in the game's first 22 minutes, 34 seconds to break the all-time school mark.

The Pacers' second-straight four-goal win over a conference opponent lifts their record to 6-2-2 overall. They are now among three schools with a 3-0 conference record at the top of the standings. Baptist Bible fell to 3-7-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the CSAC.

Zachary Oster netted the Pacers' final goal in the 50th minute off a header on a Daniel Lopez corner kick. Christian Lawlor assisted two of Hull goals, and Kris Kassel added one assist.

Hull started the scoring with an unassisted goal after a ball deflected off a Defender defender and landed at his feet in the fifth minute of play. Goalkeeper Dillon Bowman charged out of the goal, but Hull placed the ball at the perfect spot, out of the reach of Bowman.

He added his second goal in the 12th minute from Kris Kassel. Three minutes later, Hull teamed up with Lawlor to record a hat trick in just 15 minutes of play. Lawlor fed Hull his fourth goal in the 23rd minute that set the individual game goal mark.

It is just the sixth time in Marywood history that a hat trick has been record. Hull's four goals eclipse the previous record held by Rob Cherrington, Matt Reynolds, Damani Irby, Greg Clearly and Lawlor himself. Hull also tied the school mark with eight points in an individual game, evening Mark Reynolds' 2003 performance against Practical Bible (Davis College).

Justin Sunseri and Thomas Wolters made a save apiece for the Pacers. Bowman made two stops.

Marywood out-shot the Defenders by a 25-6 margin. The Pacers had a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Baptist Bible added a tally to the scoreboard in the 86th minute off a Pacers' own goal.

Marywood looks to remain undefeated in conference play at home Saturday against Cairn University at 4:00 pm.
