Scranton, PA - Marywood University's Alixandria Fiore scored the golden goal in the fourth minute of overtime as the Pacers rallied for a 2-1 win over visiting Rosemont College Wednesday afternoon in Scranton.  The loss was the first CSAC defeat of the season for the visiting Ravens, who fell to 7-5 overall and 5-1 in league play.  Marywood extended their unbeaten streak to six games as they improved to 4-5-3 overall and 4-0-2 in the CSAC.

Rosemont's Kerry Hars got the visitors on the board just 9:10 into the contest when she slotted Victoria Pezdirtz from just inside the 18 yard box after taking a beautiful feed from Taylor Mohr.  Rosemont would hold a 7-3 advantage in shots in the first half but could not find the back of the net again.

Marywood responded with the equalizer 21:27 into the second half.  Krista Capelli's shot from the left flank was originally re-directed by Raven goalkeeper Jenna Kaiser, but Allison Warner was there to put home the rebound into an empty net to level the score at 1-1.

Each team missed several other looks in the remaining 20-plus minutes of regulation but could not find the winner.

Four minutes into overtime, Fiore took a feed with her back to the goal on top of the box, shielded one defender and spun to her right, then struck a left-footed bending ball to the far post past an out-stretched Kaiser for the win.

Marywood out-shot the Ravens 16-12 on the day and had a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.  Pezdirtz made four stops for Marywood while Kaiser had a game-high six saves.

Marywood returns to action Saturday when they travel to Immaculata University for a 3:30 pm CSAC contest against the Mighty Macs (3-0-2 CSAC).
