Scranton, PA – Marywood University finished off its regular season with an undefeated conference record with a 2-1 come-from-behind double overtime victory over Gwynedd Mercy University Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer action. The Pacers assured themselves of the top seed in the CSAC tournament with a victory over Neumann University earlier this week. They will host the winner of the lowest remaining seed after Tuesday's first round.

Daniel Hull assured the Pacers (12-2-2, 9-0 CSAC) unblemished conference mark and nine-game winning streak in the 101st minute. Hull went to the weak side of the goal on a breakaway chance manufactured by Daniel Lopez.

The goal pushes Hull into sole possession of the Marywood single season goals record with 12 tallies.

Marywood was less than two minutes away from being shut out by the Griffins (6-13-1, 2-7 CSAC). Lopez sent the game into overtime in the 89th minute with a 25-yard laser from just outside the top of the box. The sophomore midfielder finished the game with three points on a goal and an assist.

Gwynedd Mercy took a one-goal lead in the 23rd minute. Dan Panepresso scored from long distance after Marywood goalkeeper Austin Wright misplayed a ball behind himself. Panepresso took a Steve Macor volley and watched it bounce into the net.

Marywood outshot the Griffins by a 22-9 margin and had 10 on target to Gwynedd Mercy's three. The Pacers had an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

Thomas McGlennon came in relief to earn the victory in net for the Pacers with one save in 35 minutes. Wright made one save in 65 minutes. The Griffins' Matt Chilcote stopped seven shots in a losing effort.

The Pacers honored seniors Joshua Soto, Christian Lawlor, Matthew Pancoast, Paul Fedorczyk and Joshua Bausch before the game.

Pancoast earned an assist on the Lopez goal.

The Pacers will host their next opponent in the CSAC semifinal on Thursday at a time to be determined.
