Scranton, PA – Marywood University advanced to the Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer championship with a 3-1 victory over Neumann University Thursday in the semifinal. The top-seeded Pacers will host No. 2 seed Centenary College Saturday at 1:00 pm for the conference championship and an automatic NCAA berth.

The conference's leaders in goals and assists teamed up again in the 14th minute for the game-winning goal. Just 89 seconds after Neumann tied the contest in the 13th, Hull charged on a Daniel Lopez volley off a set piece and headed it for a 2-1 lead. Hull's 13th score is a Marywood single season record. At that point, all three shots on goal for the game went into the net.

Senior Paul Fedorczyk tallied the first goal of the season and just the second of his career in the 53rd to provide the Pacers with an all-important 3-1 lead. Fedorczyk blocked Neumann goalkeeper and CSAC Player of the Year Alex Lacko's kick from a short range at the top of the box. Fedorczyk followed the ball through as its momentum veered toward goal and hammered it into the net from 5 yards out.

Christian Lawlor gave the Pacers the first strike in the game at the 10 minute mark. Lawlor dribbled a Lopez pass into open space and fired a low liner from 16 yards out on a hard angle. Lacko was unable to extend himself on the Lawlor shot as it caromed against the far-side post.

Neumann evened things in the 13th at 1-1. Tben Donnie peppered a Joe Martinho assist into the net for his fifth goal of the year. The goal was set up off a Dan Chrashewsky indirect kick from just shy of the midfield line.

In the other CSAC semi, Centenary prevailed 6-5 in penalty kicks over defending champion Cabrini College after playing to a 2-2 draw. Marywood defeated Centenary 2-1 on Oct. 2. The Pacers head into their third CSAC final in four seasons riding a 10-game winning streak, and the Cyclones have won their past nine matches.

After never beating Neumann before this season, the Pacers defeated the Knights for the second time this season.

Marywood goalkeeper Justin Sunseri made three saves in a winning effort. Lacko finished with five saves.

The Knights won the corner kick battled with seven to the Pacers' three. Marywood outshot Neumann 17-11 and doubled the Knights shots on target by an eight-to-four margin.
