Clarks Summit, PA - Marywood University women's basketball achieved its best offensive outing of the season in a 90-53 victory over Baptist Bible Wednesday. The Pacers saw season bests in total points, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage.

The Pacers (14-10 overall, 11-4 CSAC) tied a season-high 90 points
– also against the Defenders – and their 56.1 field goal percentage (32-of-57) is their best outing of the season. After struggling at the line for the past four games, Marywood found its stroke at the charity stripe. The Pacers made 22-of-25 free throws for 88 percent.

Danielle Terranella scored a season-best 24 points in her first start of the season. Terranella shot 8-for-11 from the field and made all eight of her free throws. She was a rebound away from a double-double with a team-leading nine rebounds and tallied three steals. Terranella has led the team in rebounds each of the past three games.

The Pacers currently sit in fourth place in the CSAC standings, a half game ahead of Neumann and Keystone, with one game to play. With a win at Cabrini Saturday, Marywood would jump to the #3 seed and host a first round game Monday, February 18. If the Cavaliers remain undefeated in conference play with a win, the Pacers would drop to sixth place and play on the road Monday.

Maggie Presnal dominated the paint in the early going. Presnal scored 13 of her 15 points in the first half, grabbed three steals, and snagged five rebounds.

Nora Joyce added nine points for the Pacers. Ashley Murray, Maddie Lavery, Morgann Haduck and Lindsey Schroth each had eight.

Courtney Murray pulled in eight rebounds in just 11 minutes. Schroth had a team-high four steals.

Kelly Bargfeldt stood out for the Defenders with 26 points.

Both teams turned the ball over in high numbers. Baptist Bible led with 26 turnovers, while the Pacers committed 25.

The Pacers never trailed throughout the game. It was tied at six apiece before Marywood enjoyed a 14-1 run that put them ahead 20-7 with 10:10 in the first. Baptist Bible was held to without a field goal for a 7:26 stretch.

Baptist Bible managed to cut the deficit to six points following a Corin Landry 3-pointer with 5:33 on the scoreboard. Marywood scored eight-straight points in a 1:35 span, highlighted by a Presnal layup, en route to a 39-27 halftime lead.

Marywood outscored the Defenders 51-26 in the second half.
