Williamsport, PA - Lycoming College used two six-goal streaks to oust Marywood University 14-7 Tuesday in non-conference women's lacrosse action. The Pacers failed to score a goal in the first 20 minutes of each half. 

Kimberly Commisso led the Pacers (0-4) with five goals. Stacy Griffing and Kathy DiGiacomo each added a score. 

Marywood goalkeeper Leigha Dolcemascolo made 10 saves. 

Lycoming (1-3) won its first game of the season behind five multi-goal scorers. Casey Maguire contributed with two goals and an assist. 

The Warriors opened with the game's first six goals until a four-point Marywood run late in the first half put the Pacers back in contention. Starting at the 9:33 mark, Commisso netted three scores in just over five minutes. With a set-up by Sarah Caughy, DiGiacomo found the back of the net on a man-up opportunity at 2:10 left in the first half to cut the deficit to two goals at 6-4. 

Lycoming's Savannah Fox found net from Amber Graybill to put the Warriors ahead 7-4 12 seconds before halftime. The Warriors piled on early in the second half, producing the first five goals. 

Marywood found success in the late portion of the game. Griffing added a goal on a free-position shot with 19 seconds remaining. Thirteen seconds later, Commisso manufactured her fifth goal of the game. 

Both teams tied in turnovers (19), caused turnovers (six), and saves (10). Lycoming held a 33-21 advantage in shots, and the Pacers trailed in ground balls 29-19. 

Griffing and Samantha Akshar each finished with three ground balls. 

Marywood seeks its first victory of the season Saturday at Lebanon Valley College at 1 p.m.
