Terlizzi benefited from a man-up, open-net opportunity to cap the Pacers' victory.

Marywood outshot the Monarchs by a 35-20 margin. The Pacers held a 22-19 advantage in ground balls. Marywood was successful on all 10 of its clear attempts.

The Pacers struggled in man-up situations, going 1-for-7 with their only goal coming on Terlizzi's late open-net goal. The Monarchs were able to successfully kill a two-man down penalty in the second quarter.

Marywood jumped out to a two-goal lead after Anderson put on the board at the 11:57 mark in the first quarter. Frederico posted his first goal of the game later in the first to cement an early cushion.

After King's went on a three-goal run in the first, Marywood's Schmidt made a spectacular play to tie the game at three apiece with 52 seconds remaining in the third quarter. Schmidt reversed himself and made an over-the-shoulder, behind-the-back shot for his first goal of the season.
