LVC Delivers Marywood Snow-Shortened Loss

Annville, PA - Marywood University women's lacrosse was defeated by Lebanon Valley College 16-2 Saturday in a game that was shortened by inclement weather. Officials called the game with 10:13 remaining due to unplayable field conditions caused snow and ice pellets. 

The Pacers (0-5) received goals from Sarah Caughy and Kimberly Commisso. Leigha Dolcemascolo made six saves. 

Seven Pacer players picked up a ground ball, and four caused one turnover. 

Hana Krechel led the Flying Dutchmen with three goals and six assists. Bailey Benz added two goals and three assists, and Mel Modrick produced two goals and two assists. 

Following two early Lebanon Valley goals, Caughy cut the deficit to 2-1 at the 26:34 mark. The Flying Dutchmen went on a 13-0 run to finish the first half. Commisso started the second half with a score at 28:40. 

The Pacers seek their first victory of the season Wednesday at Rosemont College starting at 4 p.m.
