Men's Tennis Blanks Neumann 9-0, Remain Unbeaten in CSAC

Aston, PA - Marywood University blanked their second straight opponent as the Pacers handed host Neumann University a 9-0 defeat Thursday afternoon in Aston.  Marywood beat Keystone by an identical score two days ago and improved to 6-3 overall (3-0 CSAC) with the win over the Knights.  Neumann fell to 1-4 (1-1 CSAC) with the loss.

Marywoods #2 doubles team of Evan Bolus and Wyatt Nolan and the Pacers' #3 team of Daniel Pfafman and Ryan Mulqueen both won by scores of 8-0 while Todd Doran and Mark Van Nort improved to 5-1 (3-0 CSAC) on the year as a duo with an 8-3 win at #1 doubles play.

In singles action, Doran (#1), Pfafman (#4), Mulqueen (#5) and Frank Nicolosi (#6) all won by scores of 6-0, 6-0.  Playing pro-sets at #2 and #3 singles, Bolus and Jones won by scores of 8-2 and 8-3 as the Pacers continued their CSAC winning streak.

Marywood hosts Rosemont Monday at 1:00 p.m.
