Snow Postpones Men's Lacrosse Game at Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - The men's lacrosse game scheduled today between Marywood University and No. 3 Lynchburg College was postponed due to snow in central Virginia. The contest is postponed to Thursday at 4 p.m.

The game features the third-ranked Lynchburg College team that is undefeated through three games. The Hornets made national headlines when it ended Salisbury University's 31-game winning streak with a 13-12 victory. It also defeated CSAC-foe No. 5 Cabrini College by an 11-9 score.


Marywood is seeking its first win of the season after dropping a pair of games to St. Vincent College and Shenandoah University. Marywood is fourth in the nation in ground balls per game (54) and eighth in caused-turnovers per game (16.5). Brandon Terlizzi is ranked third in Division III in faceoff win percentage (.744) and ground balls per game (12.5). Sam Trill's five goals per game stands sixth in the nation.
