Pacers Win Second Straight, Down Anna Maria 10-1 in Five

Clermont, FL - Marywood University improved to 2-4 on the young season as the Pacers won their second game in a row on Thursday with a 10-1 win over Anna Maria College (MA) in five innings.  Katherine King picked up her first win of the season on the mound with a complete-game effort while four Pacers had multiple hit games in the win.  King threw a three-hitter and struck out six in improving to 1-3 on the mound this year.

After scoring one run in the first, Marywood opened up and plated six runs in the second before adding another run in the third and two more in the fifth to end the game early.  Three Pacers picked up multiple hits in the game.  Stephanie Bagniewski and Kellsie Davis were both 2-for-3 with two RBI  while Meghin Palmer was 2-for-4 with three runs scored.  Dana Prudente was 1-for-2 with a homer and three RBI. 

Marywood closes their spring break trip with a pair of games Friday.  The Pacers will take on Finlandia University (MI) at 1:00pm followed by Emerson College (MA) at 3:00pm.
