Fort Pierce, FL - Despite being out-hit 13-3 on the day, Marywood University managed to down Muhlenberg College 5-2 in non-conference baseball action Friday afternoon in Florida.  Zack Klien and Thomas Richards both picked up RBIs in the win while Michael Ciavarella evened his record at 1-1 after going 5.1 innings.  Joseph DiLoreto got the save for the Pacers, now 2-5 on the year.

Marywood took a 2-0 lead in the first and never trailed in the game.  Jonathan Woytach opened the game with a walk and moved to third on a throwing error during a bunt by Daniel Hull.  A routine groundout gave Richards an RBI on the game's first run as Woytach crossed the plate, and Hull would later score on a wild pitch.

Muhlenberg (6-3) got one back in the third on an RBI double but the Pacers answered in the bottom half of the inning when Klien's groundout scored Richards.  Marywood tacked on another run in the fourth when Mike Diskin scored on another wild pitch and one more in the sixth when Diskin scored his second run of the game during a throwing error.

Ciavarella got the win after going 5.1 innings and allowing two runs on 10 hits while striking out one.  DiLoreto got the save by pitching the final 3.2 innings scoreless and allowing just three hits.

The Pacers will close out their spring break trip with a single game against Delaware Valley College tonight at 6:30pm.
