Men's Tennis Extends CSAC Win Streak to Four Years

Clarks Summit, PA - Marywood University has extended their Conference win streak to four years as the Pacers improved to 7-3 (4-0 CSAC) with a 9-0 win over Rosemont Monday afternoon at Birchwood Tennis Club in Clarks Summit. The Pacers' last CSAC loss came on April 5, 2009 to Cabrini College.  Marywood allowed just one point in the win.

The Pacers cruised through doubles play with all three teams winning by a score of 8-0.  Todd Doran and Mark Van Nort remain unbeaten (4-0) in CSAC doubles action in the top flight as do Evan Bolus and Wyatt Nolan at #2 doubles (2-0 CSAC) and Ethan Jones and Frank Nicolosi at #3 doubles (3-0 CSAC). 

In singles play, Doran, Bolus, Jones, Ryan Mulqueen and Daniel Tintle all won 6-0, 6-0 at one, two, three, five and six singles, respectively, while Daniel Pfafman was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at #4 singles.

Ironically, the Pacers will host Cabrini on April 6 in their next match.  Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
