Men's Golf Shoots 347 in CSAC Tuneup

Moosic, PA - Playing in their final tuneup match before this weekend's CSAC golf championships at Glenmaura National Golf Club, Marywood University fell to local rival University of Scranton by a score of 316-347.  Marywood ends their regular season with a dual-match record of 3-3.  The Pacers were led by Dalton Deardorff's round of 83.

Playing on the par 71, 6,602 yard blue course at Glenmaura, the Royals got six rounds of scoring below 90.  Jamie Bresnahan led Scranton with the low round of the afternoon, a 3-over par 74.  Teammate Erik Meyer was next with a 78 while Ryan Brown shot a 81.  Mike Brown closed out the team scoring for the Royals with an 83 while Andrew  Loyack and Kevin Kucharski each shot 88s.

Deardorff shot a 42 on the front nine and a 41 on the back nine to lead Marywood with a 83.  Paul Kania scored a 41 on the front nine and a 43 on the back nine for an 84.  Jack Lawless shot an 88 and M. Frank Major IV shot a 92 to close out Marywood's 347 total.  Shane Davis hit a 97 and Sean Stanley hit a 102 for the Pacers.

Marywood will host this weekend's CSAC Men's Golf Championships this Friday and Saturday at Glenmaura.
