Scranton, PA – Marywood University women's lacrosse concluded its regular season with a 21-7 loss to No. 11 Susquehanna University Wednesday in a rainy nonconference game. The Pacers (6-8) enter the Colonial States Athletics Conference playoffs as a third seed and will host Centenary College Saturday at 4:00 pm.

Kimberly Commisso scored three goals and an assist for the Pacers and won four draw controls. Kathy DiGiacomo contributed three points with two goals and an assist, and Dana Grossjung tallied a goal and an assist in a two-point effort.

Amanda Khozouri made 19 saves in her first career appearance in goal. She also led the Pacers with five ground balls.

The Pacers' Mary Ninivaggi picked up four ground balls. Ilze Spilde and Commisso attributed three ground balls.

Marywood kept pace with the undefeated Crusaders (14-0) until the final minutes of first half. The Pacers were within two as late as 7:26 in the first half when Commisso caught a Grossjung feed for a score to make it 5-3. After a pair of Crusader goals and another Commisso tally, Susquehanna scored six goals in the final 5:36 of the first half en route to a nine-goal run that eventually put Marywood behind 17-4.

Susquehanna's Michelle McGinniss posted a game-high seven goals and one assist. Brynn Reid had four goals and two assists for six points. Emma Ehler bagged three goals and two assists. McGinniss also controlled the draw controls with eight.
