Easton, PA - Top seed Marywood University took just over an hour and a half to down #4 Neumann University 5-0 and advance to Saturday's Colonial States Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship.  The Pacers, who are seeking their fourth consecutive CSAC title and automatic qualifying spot into the NCAA Division III tournament, improved to 12-4 on the year.  Neumann closes their season at 7-8.

Marywood cruised through doubles play in less than an hour as they gained an early 3-0 lead.  Evan Bolus and Wyatt Noland put Marywood up 1-0 with a 8-2 win at #2 doubles over Travis Hall and Stephen Moran before the Pacers' Ryan Mulqueen and Daniel Pfafman beat Todd Del Sordo and Jimmie Ferguson 8-1 to give Marywood at 2-0 lead.  Todd Doran and Mark Van North finished doubles action with a win at #1, 8-3 over Bryan Bodine and Joel Maynard.

In singles play, Doran cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Hall before Pfafman ended the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Maynard on court three.

Bolus (second singles), Ethan Jones (fourth singles) and Mulqueen (fifth singles) were all leading in their matches when the Pacers hit the five-point mark.  The match between Neumann's Ferguson and Van Nort at six singles did not start.

Marywood will take the winner of the second semifinal being played between #2 Immaculata and #3 Baptist Bible College.  The Championship match will be on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Northwood Racquet Club in Easton.
