Easton, PA - Top-seeded Marywood University clinched their fourth consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship with a 5-0 win over #2 Immaculata University Saturday afternoon at the Northwood Racquet Club in Easton.  The Pacers (13-4) will await word on their NCAA Division III tournament opponent.  Pairings are expected to be announced early next week.  The Mighty Macs closed out their strong season with an 11-5 mark and a CSAC Runner-Up plaque.

Marywood's #2 and #3 doubles teams each won by scores of 8-1 to give the Pacers an early 2-0 lead.  Todd Doran and Mark Van Nort, playing at #1 doubles, then sent the Pacers up 3-0 with an 8-2 win over Nicholas Coia and Troy Donato.

Marywood's Evan Bolus won 6-1, 6-1 at #2 singles before Daniel Pfafman won 6-0, 6-3 at #3 singles over Eric Schmidt to close out the match.  Doran was up 6-2, 0-1 at #1 singles when the match was called while Ethan Jones held a 7-5, 0-1 lead at #4 singles.  Ryan Mulqueen was also leading T.J. Klinger 6-5 when the match stopped.

Marywood heads to the NCAA tournament as the CSAC automatic qualifier for the fourth consecutive year.  During that time span, in addition to winning four straight CSAC titles, the Pacers have held a 29-match winning streak against conference opponents during the regular season.
