Rosemont, PA - Marywood University's Katherine King threw a no-hitter in the opener and pitched two complete games as the Pacers downed Rosemont College 12-0 and 11-1 to extend their winning streak to six games.  The Pacers (11-9, 9-3 CSAC) won their sixth and seventh games in their last eight tries.  King struck out eight over two games and allowed no hits and the opener and nine in the nightcap.  Rosemont fell to 5-13 (3-9 CSAC) with the losses.

In the opener, King was dominant, not allowing a hit and only having two Marywood errors stand between her and a perfect game.  Marywood scored six runs over the first three innings then used a six run fourth to put the game away early.  Keandra Koons was 2-for-3 while Diana Prudente led Marywod with three RBI.  Mariah Runco (1-for-3) picked up her team-leading third homerun with a two-runs shot in the first inning.

In the nightcap, Samantha Rayhon went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Brianna Gifford a two-run triple as the Pacers won, 11-1.  Rosemont had a 1-0 lead after the first but Marywood scored three in the third and four in both the fifth and seventh innings to get their eleventh win of the year.

King allowed one run on nine hits in the second game to improve to 5-5 on the year.

Marywood returns to action Saturday when they travel to Radnor to face Cabrini College at 1:00 p.m.
