Daniel Hull had three hits , an RBI and two runs scored as Marywood split with Neumann Tuesday Marywood Splits with Regionally-Ranked Neumann Baseball - 4/9/2013 4:28:00 PM Game 1 Box Score Game 2 Box Score Scranton, PA - Marywood University scored four runs early and six runs late as the Pacers picked up their first conference win of the season with a 10-7 win over regionally ranked Neumann University Tuesday afternoon in Scranton. The Knights won the nightcap 11-2 to salvage a split in the CSAC twinbill. Marywood moves to 6-13 on the year (1-7 CSAC) while Neumann stands at 15-8 (5-4 CSAC). In the opener, Marywood grabbed an early 4-0 lead but after a six-run Neumann fifth need four more in the bottom of the fifth and two in the bottom of the sixth to put the Knights away. Joseph DiLoreto (2-1) got the win after pitching 2.2 innings of relief. Michael Ciavarello started and went 4.1 innings, allowing three earned runs on ten hits. DiLoreto allowed one unearned run and just three hits to get his second win of the year. Marywood took advantage of four Neumann miscues and got a RBI triple from Michael Diskin . Thomas Richards went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored while Erik Pulkkinnen and Jonathan Woytach also went 2-for-4. Int he nightcap, Neumann scored eight runs in the sixth to break open a 3-1 game. Marywood gave up 11 runs in the loss but only three were earned as the Pacers committed five errors. Daniel Hull went 2-for-3 for Marywood int eh loss while Dan Capwell picked up Marywood's lone RBI. Russell Baldino (0-4) took the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits over five full innings of work. Nicholas DeFebo allowed seven unearned runs in two innings of relief.
