Scranton, PA - Host Marywood University remained unbeaten on the year with a 9-0 win over visiting Cairn University Friday afternoon in CSAC women's tennis action.  The defending conference Champion Pacers improved to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in CSAC play with the win while Cairn fell to 1-4 (0-3 CSAC).

Marywood swept doubles play with all three teams winning by scores of 8-1.  In singles play, Carly Leitzel earned a 6-0, 6-0 win in #1 singles action while Melissa Hudock (#2) and Avery McCall (#6) both won by 6-0, 6-1 scores.  Megan Nastelli (#3) and Rebecca Lukasak (#5) both won by a 6-1, 6-1 score.  At #4 singles, Kristen Lambert was a 6-2, 6-0 winner for the Pacers.

Marywood returns to action Sunday when they take on Gwynedd Mercy University at 1:00 pm in Gwynedd Valley.  It is a rematch of the 2012 CSAC title match that saw the Pacers end the Griffins' bid for a fifth consecutive Conference title.
