Scranton, PA - Julie Kowalski scored midway through the first half but Moravian College scored two second half goals en route to a 2-1 win over host Marywood University Saturday afternoon in non-conference field hockey action.  The Pacers remain winless on the year (0-7) while Moravian improved to 4-3 with the win.

Despite being out-shot for much of the first half, Marywood got on the board first when Kowalski found the back of the cage in the 21st minute.  The Pacers would carry that 1-0 lead into halftime despite being out-shot 14-3 in the opening stanza.

Moravian wasted little time finding the equalizer as they scored just 4:59 into the second half.  Taylor Holly followed her own shot that was originally saved by Marywood's Natalie Winters and put the rebound home to tie the game at 1-1.  Just under four minutes laster, Keriann Badessa took a feed from Kelly O'Donnell and one-timed it through Winters' legs for the game-winner.

Moravian out-shot Marywood 29-3 on the day but Winters made 13 saves to keep the Pacers' hopes alive througout.

Marywood returns to action Tuesday when they host King's College at 4:00 pm in their final non-conference game of the season.
