Mount Cobb, PA - Marywood University had four different players shoot in the 70s as the Pacers shot a team low 306 to defeat both Baptist Bible College and Misericordia University Wednesday afternoon at the Marywood Tri-Match at Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mount Cobb.  Marywood improved to 4-1 after the record-setting performance.

Despite Baptist Bible's Luke Peterson taking medalist honors with a 73 on the par-72, 6,274 yard course, Marywood placed four scorers in the top six and had five in the top eight overall to win the match.

Michael Thomas led the way for the Pacers with a 2-over 74 and a second place finish, while Shane Davis tied for third with Misericordia's Mike Gottstein after both fired 4-over 76s.  Paul Kania recorded a +5 77 for a fifth place finish whiel Devin Crowley registered a 79 to finish in sixth.  Dalton Deardorff's 81 was good enough for an eight place finish overall while John Lawless shot a 84 to round out Marywood's scoring.

Marywood's scoring on the day not only marked a team-best low round of 306, but also marked the first time in program history four Pacers shot in the 70s on the same day.

The Pacers return to the links Friday when they take on the University of Scranton at Scranton Municipal starting at 1:00 pm.
