Hanover Township, PA - Marywood University shot a four-player score of 318 to finish in first-place in a triangular meet with Baptist Bible College and host King's College Monday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. Baptist Bible placed second with a 339 on the Par-71, 6,178 yard course while the Monarchs were third with a 349.Luke Peterson of Baptist Bible captured medalist honors with a two-over par 73. Defender teammate Jordan Greve was second with a 75. Marywood placed players third-through-sixth with Devin Crowley carding a 77 while teammate Dalton Deardorff was fourth with a 78. Michael Thomas and Paul Kania were fifth and sixth respectively with scores of 81 and 81.
King's Paul Kondracki was tied for sixth with Kania at 82 while Monarch teammate Ryan Hettes finished 8th with an 83. Other King's players included Steve Hemmig (83), Mike Post (96), and Carmen Dellia (112).
Marywood, now 6-2 on the year, will return to the links on October 11 when they take on Baptist Bible College at Stonehedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock.
