Scranton, PA - Marywood University used a 12-0 run over a four minute stretch in the second half to take a 55-49 lead but Baptist Bible answered the Pacers' rally with one of their own to down Marywood 76-69 in a key Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball battle Monday evening in Scranton.  BBC improved to 5-7, 2-3 CSAC behind 22 points from both Dan Decker and Luke Peterson while Marywood fell to 5-7, 1-4 CSAC with the loss.

A back and forth first half saw the visitors go into the locker room with a 38-37 lead after a buzzer beating three-pointer from Dan McGuigan.  BBC opened the second half making two of their first three shots to take a 45-41 lead, but after falling behind 49-43 Marywood used that 12-0 run to reclaim a 55-49 lead with 11:25 to go.

The Pacers and Defenders traded baskets for the next ten minutes, and despite only hitting two of eight free throws over the game's first 39 minutes, the Defenders held off the Pacers by sinking 6 of 7 from the charity stripe in the game's final 59 seconds.

Marywood was led by Ryan Corrigan's team-high 16 points and got 13 from Shane Kellaher.  Marywood hit 47% of their shots in the first half but just 35% in the second half.  BBC, meanwhile, was consistent with 56% shooting in the first and 53% in the second.

Marywood returns to action Wednesday with a trip to Neumann University. The Pacers and Knights will tip-off at 7:00 pm.
