Scranton, PA – Ashley Murray broke the school record for consecutive free throws made in Marywood University's 82-33 victory Monday over Baptist Bible College in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball action. Murray hit both of her free throw attempts to extend her perfect streak to 23 free throws, dating 366 days since her last miss against Immaculata University on Jan. 14, 2013. She breaks Mariah Schaeffer's 2009-10 mark of 22 straight from the charity stripe.

Marywood scored the game's first 13 points, making six of its first eight shots. The Defenders did not make a basket until 6:08 into the game when Alyssa Cole tallied a layup. Baptist Bible committed a turnover on 10 of its first 11 possessions of the game.

Murray was one of two Pacers in double figures in scoring with 11 points. She was the game's top rebounder with seven off the glass. Danielle Terranella led all scorers with 18 points. Terranella made eight of her 10 shots and also contributed five rebounds.

Alexa Gerchman posted six assists and seven points. Courtney Murray blocked three shots and caused three steals.

Marywood had by far its most productive night of the season from the field. The Pacers made 52.3 percent of its shots while holding the Defenders to a measly 28.6 percent.

Turnovers plagued the Defenders in the first half with 25 giveaways. Baptist Bible committed a total of 31 turnovers to the Pacers' 16. Marywood had a season-high 18 steals.

Baptist Bible was led by Maehin Mueller with 10 points. Erika Longwell scored eight.

The win marks the second 49-point victory of the season for the Pacers. Marywood previously defeated Cairn University 81-32.

Marywood will travel to Baltimore Saturday to take on Notre Dame of Maryland University. After a three-game home stand, the Pacers don't return home until Wednesday, Jan. 22 against Gwynedd Mercy University.
