Radnor, PA - Shane Kellaher matched his own season-high with a team leading 23 points but Cabrini College got a game-high 35 points from Aaron Walton-Moss and the third-ranked Cavaliers went on to beat Marywood 82-68 in CSAC men's basketball action Monday night in Radnor. Cabrini improved to 14-0 overall and 8-0 in CSAC play with the win while Marywood fell to 5-10 (1-7 CSAC) with the loss.

The visiting Pacers enjoyed one of their better shooting performances as of late, going 48% from the floor and 61% from three-point land, but it was still not enough.  Cabrini also got double-digit performances from Fran Rafferty (11), Matt Forrest (12) and Jon Miller (10) in the win.  Ryan Corrigan had 18 for Marywood while Shane Letthand had nine.

In a first half that saw nine ties, the Pacers hung tough, leading several times and going into the break down just two, 45-43.  But a quick 6-0 run from the Cavaliers to start the second half quickly separated the two teams, and the hosts would be up double-figures less than six minutes into the second.

Marywood got the Cabrini lead to six with 8:30 to play on a three from Corrigan, but Rafferty answered with his own trey at the other end to put the lead back to nine.  A couple fouls and turnovers ensued, and the Cavaliers had their largest lead of the night (16) with under two to play.

Cabrini is ranked third in the nation behind UW-Stevens Point (16-0) and Wooster (14-1), respectively, and both Wooster and the Cavaliers received one first place vote in the latest poll.

Marywood will host Keystone College Wednesday night at 8:00 pm.
