Radnor, PA - Cabrini College rushed out to a double-digit lead in the first 7:30 and never looked back for an 81-54 victory over Marywood University Monday in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball. The Cavaliers led by 17 at halftime and by as many as 38 in the second half.

Danielle Terranella led the Pacers (11-5, 6-2 CSAC) with 15 points on six-of-11 shooting. Nora Joyce reached double figures with 10 points. Ashley Murray hit three 3-pointers for nine points.

Courtney Murray was the most efficient player in the first half, finishing with seven points, four blocks, three rebounds and two steals.

Cabrini's dominance under the basket proved to be a deciding factor in the game. The Cavaliers held a 53-34 advantage off the glass. Carly Leitzel led the Pacers with five rebounds.

Marywood shot 38.6 percent (22-57) from the field, while Cabrini (13-4, 7-1 CSAC) made 42.3 percent of its shots. Save for Ashley Murray's success, the Pacers failed to live up to their Top 25 3-point efficiency success. Ranked 20th in the country with 36 percent of its threes made, Marywood went 3-for-17 (17.6 percent) from outside the arc. Having failed to get to the line often in its past two games, Marywood was disconcerted by its performance from the charity stripe. The Pacers went a season-low 38.9 percent on 7-of-18 shooting from the free-throw line.

Marywood will look to collect itself Wednesday when it hosts Gwynedd Mercy University at 6:00 pm at the Insalaco Arena. The Pacers sank the Griffins for the first time in seven tries on Dec. 4, 2013. Morgann Haduck sank a go-ahead 3-pointer with 39 seconds remaining to ensure the win in the first of two meetings this season.
