Radnor, PA - Meghan Martin scored when her cross was re-directed into the goal by a Marywood defender just 1:17 into the game and host Cabrini College went on for a 3-0 win over Marywood University Saturday afternoon in Radnor.  The Cavaliers remained unbeaten (6-0) in CSAC play and improved to 7-6 overall while Marywood fell to 3-9, 3-2 CSAC with the loss.

Martin took the ball down the right win in the opening moments of Saturday's game and sent a well placed ball inside the six.  A tracking Marywood defender attempted to clear the ball out of bounds but instead the ball bounced inside the near post for the first goal of the game.

The score would remain 1-0 until the break with neither team generating many offensive chances. Both teams had three first half shots.

In the second, Cabrini out-shot Marywood 9-3 and put two more of those in the back of the net.  In the 57th minute, Dana Peterson picked up a loose ball in the box on a feed from Melissa Scanzo and beat Emily Osborne to make it 2-0.

Cabrin's Taylor Tralie made it 3-0 off a helper from Martin in the 69th minute.  Osborne made three saves in 72 minutes of action.  Victoria Pezdirtz played the final 18 without making a stop.

Marywood will look to reboud from the loss Tuesday when they host Neumann University at 4:00 pm.
