Scranton, PA - Erica Greco broke open a 0-0 game with her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 58th minute of play but Neumann University answered late with a breakaway goal as the Pacers and Knights played to a 1-1 stalemate Tuesday afternoon in CSAC women's soccer action.

An eventful first half saw each team take six shots, with Marywood putting three on frame and Neumann putting two on target.  Ashley Hawkins had the first good look of the game but Emily Osborne made a great save to her left to keep the game scoreless in the early moments.  Equal to the task, Neumann keeper Brianna King made several point-blank saves on Marywood attempts.

With less than a minute in the first half, Marywood got a great look when a well-played direct kick from Alixandria Fiore bounced around inside the 18 several times before being cleared out of harms way.

In the 58th minute, Greco broke the tie with a beautifully struck left footed ball to the near post on a breakaway, beating King to her right.  Brianna Bruster played the through ball to the corner of the 18 to get the assist.

Marywood missed several other chances for an insurance goal, and eventually it cost them as a miscommunication on a breakaway led to a Hawkins goal for the Knights and a tie game.  Marywood defender Amy Moren played tight on Hawkins on the break but Hawkins read Osborne well and slotted her once she broke off the line.

Neumann had three shots in the first overtime to Marywood's two, and the Pacers had two in the second extra frame to none for the Knights.  King finished the game with six saves while Osborne had seven.

Marywood will travel to Cairn University in Langhorne for a 1:00 pm CSAC match-up.
