Pacers Extend Win Streak to Three with 4-1 Win over Immac

Immaculata, PA - After giving up the first goal of the game, Marywood University tallied the next four to down Immaculata University 4-1 for its third consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference victory. The Pacers jump to 6-4-3 with a 4-2 mark in conference play, while the Mighty Macs fall to 2-11-1 overall and winless in six CSAC tries.

Kris Kassel connected for his third consecutive game-winning goal. With the game squared at one, Kassel was successful on a penalty kick with three seconds remaining in the first half. Kassel has six goals and is a perfect 3-for-3 on penalty kicks on the season.

Exactly two minutes after Tyler Hembree put the Mighty Macs ahead in the 10th minute, Daniel Hull evened it up off an assist from Dylan McMahon. Hull would later add an assist for a three-point effort.

Jamie Mangini started the second half with a goal in the 48th minute to go ahead 3-1. It was Mangini's first goal of the season.

McMahon put the game out of reach in the 61st minute when he scored following a Daniel Hull assist. It marked McMahon's fourth score of his freshman campaign.

Making his first start of the year, Patrick Brogan made five saves to pick up his first career victory. Michael Thompson took the loss for Immaculata with five saves.

Marywood outshot the Mighty Macs 16-10 and 11-6 on target. The Pacers edged Immaculata 4-3 on corner kicks.

The Pacers host Keystone College Wednesday at 4:00 pm before traveling to Gwynedd Mercy University on Saturday.
