Scranton, PA - Marywood University put together one of their strongest team efforts of the season as the Pacers downed visiting Immaculata University 3-0 in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon in Scranton.  Marywood (5-9-1, 5-2-1 CSAC) got three points from Kimberly Vogan in the win.  Immaculata fell to 2-11-1 (2-5-1 CSAC) with the loss.

In the sixth minute, Alixandria Fiore fed a through ball up the middle to Brianna Untener, who beat Mighty Mac keeper Meghan McCurnin with the inside of her right foot from 10 yards out for what turned out to be the only goal the Pacers would need on the day.

Despite controlling much of the play in the half, Marywood would have to wait until just before halftime for an insurance goal.  Vogan played a 30-yard cross from the left flank to a streaking Mackenzie Mitchell who headed home her first collegiate goal at 44:12.

With seven and a half minutes remaining, Marywood played a brilliant corner kick from Krista Capelli to Vogan.  Vogan carried the ball to the edge of the 18 and ripped a 30 yard strike to far post netting.

The Pacers held a commanding 16-5 advantage in shots and limited the Mighty Macs to just one shot on goal, which Victoria Pezdirtz easily corralled in the second half.  Emily Osborne played the opening 61:14 in goal without making a save.

Marywood will host Centenary College Saturday at 2:00 pm in a key CSAC showdown.
