Scranton, PA - Marywood University evened both its overall and conference records with a 10-1 victory over Cedar Crest College Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey action. The Pacers (8-8, 3-3 CSAC) need a win over Keystone College Wednesday to punch its first ticket to the CSAC playoffs since 2012.

Leanne McManus scored a hat trick to lead the Pacers offensively. McManus is an ear shot of multiple single season school records. She needs at least one assist to tie Annemarie Tichey's 1997 record of nine assists. McManus is three points shy of Tichey's record of 37 points for a single season.

Julie Kowalski contributed with two goals and an assist for a five-point effort. Her 20 points for the season are a career high.

Tori Jo Kakusian added two more goals, including one off a penalty shot opportunity.

Playing in her Senior Game, Molly Westbrook registered her first goal of the season, scoring just 14 seconds into the contest. Kiersten Rauch and Danielle Higgins were also honored by coach Kacy Manning and the Athletics Department prior to the game. Higgins tallied two assists, one more than her career total entering the game. She also produced her first defensive save of the season.

Gabriella Bower also had an assist for the Pacers. Tyler Fitchet scored her second career goal. Amelia Waibel came off the bench to manufacture a goal and an assist.

Kayle Huey made nine saves in net for her seventh win of the year. Cedar Crest's Selena Contreras stopped eight shots, and the Falcons defense notched three defensive saves.

The Falcons' Emily Rodenberger scored a nice goal in the 17th minute off a penalty corner, assisted by Jessica Sanbeg.

Marywood will host Keystone Wednesday at 4:00 pm with a CSAC playoff berth on the line. The Pacers encourage fans to wear green in support of the team.
