Lafayette Hill, PA - Michael Thomas earned his fifth medalist honors of the fall and Marywood University's men's golf team improved to 17-3 in team events this fall as the Pacers won the Philadelphia University tri-match Friday afternoon at the ACE Club outside of Philadelphia.  Thomas, Nicholas Johnson and Dalton Deardorff all finished in the top four as Marywood shot a 312 to beat Division II Philadelphia University (327) and Cabrini College (328).

Thomas shot a one-over par 73 on the afternoon and was followed by Johnson who shot a 74.  Deardorff finished fourth with a +6 78 on the par 72, 6,702 yard course.  M. Frank Major shot a 87 and Willis Davenport shot a 89.

Marywood will close out the fall season with a trip to the Centenary College Invitational on October 14.  The Pacers are the defending Champions after winning the event in the fall of 2013.
