Rosemont, PA - Kimberly Vogan and Brianna Untener scored first half goals fourteen minutes apart and Marywood's defense only allowed three shots on goal as the Pacers earned a key 2-0 road win at Rosemont Saturday afternoon in CSAC women's soccer action.  Marywood improved to 2-1 in league play (2-8 overall) while the Ravens fell to 2-2 in CSAC play and 5-4-2 overall.

Vogan's tally came in the 10th minute after the Pacers were awarded a free kick 22 yards from goal on the right corner of  the 18 yard box.  Vogan blasted a shot to the near-post upper-90 to beat Ravens' keeper Jenna Kaiser and give the Pacers a 1-0 lead.

In the 24th minute, rookie Erica Greco won a ball deep in Rosemont's end and fed a through ball to Alixandria Fiore, who turned toward goal and crossed a perfectly placed ball to the far corner of the six yard box to Brianna Untener, who trapped the ball down to her foot and one-timed home the insurance goal.

From there, Marywood keeper Emily Osborne (three saves) and the Pacers' defense did the rest.  Marywood held Rosemont to just seven shots in the game, only three of which were on frame.  Marywood had a 13-7 advantage in shots while Rosemont had eight corners to two for Marywood.

Marywood returns to action Tuesday when they host Cedar Crest College at 4:00 pm.
