Box Score Box ScoreScranton, PA – Marywood University picked up its second consecutive victory with a 2-0 victory over Cedar Crest College Tuesday in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's soccer action. The Pacers (3-8, 3-1 CSAC) have won three straight CSAC contests.
Erica Greco scored both Pacer goals for her first career multi-goal game.
Kimberly Vogan added an assist.
Greco put the Pacers ahead in the 20th minute. Vogan manufactured a breakaway chance for Greco on a pass from the left flank at midfield. Greco took the feed and put a hard shot past the goalkeeper.
After a long 61-minute scoreless drought in the game, Greco added a well-needed cushion to the lead. Following a corner kick chance, Greco evaded her defender and struck a shot from 10 yards out to the far right post.
Marywood outshot the Falcons 24-1 with 13 on target. The Pacers had a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Cedar Crest's Nelani Velasquez performed well in goal with 11 saves.
Emily Osborne and
Victoria Pezdirtz combined for a shutout.
The Marywood defense has not allowed a goal in 194 minutes.
The Pacers travel to Cabrini College for a key matchup Saturday at noon.
