Langhorne, PA - Marywood University booked the No. 2 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer playoffs with a 2-0 victory over Cairn University Saturday in its regular season finale. The Pacers receive a bye and will host a playoff game Thursday against a second-lowest remaining following Tuesday's first round.
Daniel Hull and Casey Peckio each scored for the Pacers. Thomas McGlennon earned his first victory of the season in goal, notching a clean sheet with two saves. Hull put the Pacers ahead in the 31st minute with an unassisted goal. He finished the game with three points, upping his totals to 11 goals and 26 points on the season.
Peckio bolstered the Marywood lead in the 78th minute off a pass from Hull.
Cairn's Caleb Pancoast took the loss with five saves. Marywood held a 14-8 advantage in shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
