Scranton, PA - Marywood University shattered four individual game records and came within one field goal made of tying a fifth as the Pacers crushed SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry 118-33 Tuesday night in Scranton. The Pacers raced out to a 21-4 lead behind 13 points from Shane Kellaher in the opening 5:28 of play and never looked back on their way to a 2-0 record to start the season. The Mighty Oaks fall to 0-2 with the loss.

Kellaher finished tied with Jeremy Ringland for a game-high 23 points. Four other Pacers reached double figures on the night as well as Connor Callejas scored 12, Alex Barr had 11, Michael Rotell had 13 and James Curley had 14.

Marywood broke several single-game records as they scored the most points (118) in program history. The Pacers' old record was 108 in two games, on November 26, 1996 against Bard College and on February 21, 1998 against Eastern College.

Marywood set new program single-game records for three pointers made (20), 3-pointers attempted (41), points (118) and assists (33). The old single-game assist record was 27. Marywood came within one made field goal of the program record for a game, 46. 

The Pacers led 57-18 at the break after hitting 59 percent of their shots from the floor in the opening half while limiting SUNY ESF to 32% shooting. The Mighty Oaks finished the game hitting just 2 of 16 from long range, while Marywood connected on 49 percent of its 3-point attempts.

Eleven of 13 suited players registered points for the Pacers, who created 32 turnovers while only committed seven of their own.

Marywood will open conference play next Monday with a road trip at Immaculata University.
