Scranton, PA - Shane Letthand scored a game-high 20 points, 11 of which came in the second half, to lift Marywood University to a season ending 66-59 win over visiting Centenary College Wednesday evening in Scranton.  Marywood closes the 2013-14 campaign at 10-15 overall and 6-12 in the CSAC while the Cyclones closed out their year at 7-18 (6-12 CSAC).

In the first half, Marywood broke open a tight game and went into the locker room with a 34-23 lead.  The Pacers hit 46.4% of their shots in the opening half while limiting Centenary to 33.3% shooting from the floor and 27.3% shooting from behind the arc.

Early in the second half, the Cyclones battled back by opening the second on a 10-2 run.  Marywood would then extend their lead back to eight (43-35) before the Cyclones chipped away again, getting to within two, 50-48, with 7:33 remaining.

The Pacers did not break though, and never gave up their second half lead.  Up two (57-55) with 1:44 to go, Marywood hit nine of 10 freebies down the stretch to secure the win.

Letthand's game-high 20 came on 5 of 9 shooting from the floor and 8 of 13 shooting from the charity stripe.  Shane Kellaher had 13 while Ryan Corrigan and Matthew Clark each had 12.

Clayton Roker led the Cyclones with a team-high 13.

Prior to the game, Coach Bob Simmons, former coach and Assistant Athletic Director Eric Grundman and President Sister Anne Munley, IHM, honored Marywood's two seniors - Matt Tintle and Corrigan.
