Tied at seven apiece, Fedak hit an free position shot and Neumann kept Marywood scoreless for the final 7:50 in a rainy and windy battle.Lauren Smith made 14 saves and collected 11 ground balls for the Pacers.Sarah Caughy scored three goals and an assist for four points. They outshot the Knights 27-25 and trailed 38-34 in ground balls.The Pacers took their first lead of the game with 13:26 left when DiGiacomo scored from Caughy to take a 6-5 lead. Neumann score on a man-up goal at 9:35 to tie the game when Shae Risley hit her seventh goal of the year. Gabby Murray gave the Knights the lead again 26 seconds later on a Jordan Hopkins' helper.Griffing padded her outstanding defensive outing with an equalizer with 7:51 remaining from a Dana Grossjung assist.Marywood did not find the net until nearly 18 minutes into the game. After Hopkins counted the game's first two, Caughy managed two in a row of her own. The senior midfield registered a man-up goal at 12:03 and a man-down goal at 3:36 left in the first half. Hopkins broke the tie with her third of the half 37 seconds after Caughy's man-down goal.Emily Osborne opened the second half with a goal for the Pacers to even the score at three apiece.Marywood hosts Centenary College Thursday at 4:00 pm.
