Immaculata, PA - Dylan Swope broke the Marywood University men's lacrosse record with two assists Saturday in the Pacers' 21-8 rout over Immaculata University in Colonial States Athletic Conference competition. Swope, who also added a goal to his total, stands at 62 career assists to break Nick Parks' record.

Marywood evens its record to 7-7 overall with a 3-1 mark in CSAC play. The Mighty Macs remain winless on the year through 12 games and five CSAC contests.

Scott Slater led all Pacer scorers with five goals. It marks the third consecutive game Slater produced at least three goals.

Five Pacers finished with four-point efforts. Daniel Friedman and Cody Bachman both accounted for three goals and an assist. Sam Trill and Riley Dobel supplied two goals and two assists. Brandon Terlizzi dished three assists in addition to his lone goal.

Richie Manuli and Brian Madine both had their first points of the year. Manuli scored a goal and two assists. Madine added a goal and an assist.

Michael Squillante won 78 percent (21 of 27) faceoff opportunities. Squillante picked up 13 ground balls and scored a goal. Ryan Nowell gathered six ground balls.

Joe Magargal made nine saves and allowed three goals in a half's worth of work in net. Brian White made four saves, and Daghan Hart stopped a shot.

Immaculata battled with the Pacers for the first 10 minutes of the game. Swope led the scoring at 10:24 from Dobel. The Mighty Macs' Samuel Zingaro connected on a man-up goal from Bhelly Bagbanon to even the score with 6:31 in the first stanza. Cody Bachman responded by scoring 26 seconds later from Trill. Dobel needed only 17 seconds to score again at 5:48 to make it a 3-1 Pacers lead.

Swope broke the record to start the second quarter on a man-up goal by Trill. A little more than three minutes later, Swope added another assist on Nowell's only goal of the game that upped the Marwood lead to 5-1.

The Pacers outscored the Mighty Macs 7-2 in the second and fourth periods. They led 10-3 at halftime.

Marywood outshot Immaculata 46-41 and owned a 36-28 advantage in ground balls. Marywood won 75 percent of faceoffs for the game and were successful on all three extra-man chances.

The men's lacrosse team will become the first Marywood program to try out Centenary College's new turf when it travels to Hackettstown to face the Cyclones on Thursday.
