Scranton, PA - Dominic Loughlin joined exclusive company with a two-home run game and Daniel Hull had seven RBI over two games as Marywood University swept visiting Baptist Bible College 22-5 and 10-0 in non-conference baseball action Monday afternoon in Scranton.  The wins move Marywood to 10-7 on the year while the Defenders slip to 4-12.

In the opening 22-5 victory, Loughlin became the fourth Pacer in Marywood baseball history to smack two long balls.  Both of his shots easily carried the right field fence, the first being a two-run shot in the bottom of the third and the second a three-run shot in the fifth.  Loughlin fiished the opener 4-for-4 with six RBI and four runs scored. Those six runs batted in came one shy of tying the all-time mark of seven in a single game.

Hull was impressive as well, going 3-for-4 with four RBI in the opener and 1-for-2 with a bases clearing triple in the nightcap.  Mark Sherlock also picked up three RBI in the nightcap, a 10-0 win for the Pacers.

Justin Perez (1-1) got the win in game one, striking out nine and picking up the complete-game win.  Gregory Patuto was sharp for the Pacers in the nightcap, getting his first win of the season after allowing just two hits and striking out five.

Marywood will host Keystone College in a CSAC doubleheader Thursday.  Game one is set for a 1:00 pm start.
