Pacers Drop Regular Season Finale at Wilkes

Kingston, PA - Marywood University dropped their regular season finale 9-0 to host Wilkes University Monday afternoon at Kirby Park in Kingston.  The Pacers (7-3) will enter this weekend's Colonial States Athletic Conference post-season tournament as the #2 seed and will be in search of their fifth consecutive CSAC title and NCAA tournament berth.  Wilkes improved to 15-1 on the year with the win.

The Colonels made quick work of the Pacers in doubles, winning 8-4, 8-1 and 8-0.  In singles, Ryan Mulqueen fell at #1 6-3, 6-1 to Max Appello.  Mark Van Nort fell 6-2, 6-2 to Michael Kranz, and at #3 Anthony Aveline lost to Dominic Parfianowicz, 6-2, 6-2.

Marywood will take on #3 seed Baptist Bible College in one semifinal match.  Top-seeded Neumann University will face off with #4 Gwynedd Mercy Friday morning at approximately 10:00 am.  The Pacers' match against the Defenders will take place approximately one hour after the Knights and Griffins leave the courts.
