Easton, PA - Marywood University's quest for a fifth consecutive men's tennis Colonial States Athletic Conference title and NCAA tournament berth came up short Saturday as the Pacers fell to top-seeded Neumann University 5-2.  With the win, Neumann improved to 11-4 on the year and advances to the NCAA tournament by virtue of earning the CSAC's automatic bid.  Marywood closes their season with an 8-4 record.

Neumann claimed an early 2-1 lead after doubles play.  Despite Marywood's Ryan Mulqueen and Mark Van Nort winning 8-0 in the top doubles flight, the Knights rebounded for 8-6 and 8-3 wins at #2 and #3 doubles, respectively.

In singles play, Mulqueen defeated Bryan Bodine in the #1 flight 6-3, 6-1, but Neumann got wins at #2, #3 and #5 to close out the match.
