Scranton, PA - Visiting Wilkes University picked up a pair of non-conference wins over Marywood University Sunday afternoon with 4-1 and 4-0 wins over the Pacers.  The Colonels improved to 12-24 while Marywood closes their regular season with a 21-11 record.

In the opening game, Marywood took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a RBI double from Samantha Rayhon.  That lead would be short lived, as Wilkes tied things up in the top of the second.  The Colonels would then get three more in the fifth to put the game away.

Lindsey Gibbs (10-4) took the loss in the opener despite striking out nine.  Sarah Recanati was 2-for-4 with a double while Brooke Labs was 3-for-3 with a double.

In the nightcap, Wilkes built a 3-0 lead through three innings of play and added another run in the sixth.  Marywood managed just four hits in the second game.  Alyssa Bavaro (8-6) took the loss after allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits over six innings of work.  Labs was 2-for-3 with a double.

Marywood will host the CSAC Championships next Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3.
