Falcons Eliminate Pacers from NCAA Regional

put the Pacers up 5-1 with her first career homer, a three-run shot to left center. 

That lead would be short lived as the Falcons plated six runs in the top of the second to reclaim a 7-5 lead.  Brooke Pompeo and Courtney Allen both picked up a pair of RBI on singles, and catcher Becky Note homered to left field to account for the other two runs. 

Allen would later hit a grand slam in the fifth inning off of Alyssa Bavaro to put the game away.  With Messiah up 14-5 entering the bottom of the fifth, Marywood needed at least two runs to extend the game, but could only get one as Chelsea Zimmerman singled to right center to score Brianna Kuperavage.
 
Claressa Mees, who pitched 4.2 innings in relief, got the win for the Falcons and improved to 13-3 on the year.  Gibbs took the loss.  Diana Butash finished the game 2-for-3 while Bagniewski was 1-for-1 with three RBI and a run scored.
