Aston, PA - Host Neumann University picked up a pair of wins and completed a three-game series sweep of Marywood University with 4-1 and 10-4 wins over the Pacers Saturday afternoon in Aston.  The Knights improved to 17-19 overall and 10-8 in the CSAC, keeping their playoff hopes alive, while Marywood fell to 12-16, 4-12 CSAC with the losses.

Marywood took a 1-0 lead in the opener on an RBI bunt single from Mike Diskin in the third.  The Knights tied the game in the bottom half of the inning and added two more in the fourth and one more in the fifth.

AJ Koscelansky was 2-for-3 for Neumann in the opener while Jeremy Hutchison went five innings on the mound for the win.  Zach Youngberg pitched the final two innings to earn his first save of the inning.  Joseph DiLoreto (3-2) took the loss for the Pacers.  Vince Rebar was 2-for-4 with a double.

In the nightcap, Neumann scored eight runs over innings two, three and four to build a 8-2 lead.  Kevin Griffin (2-0) got the win despite only pitching two thirds of an inning in middle relief.  Bryan Noonan (2-5) took the loss for the Pacers.  Rebar was 2-for-2 with a homer three runs scored in the nightcap.

Marywood will close out their regular season Sunday when they host Centenary College in a CSAC doubleheader starting at noon.
