Scranton, PA - For the second consecutive season, Justin Sunseri started the Marywood University men's soccer season by keeping Arcadia University scoreless for 110 minutes. Again, like 2013, the Pacers also failed to score as well with both teams playing to a 0-0 after two overtime periods.

Sunseri made eight saves in goal. His most masterful stop came in the 73rd minute when he corralled a bullet from Arcadia's Danny Herrerra. It marks Sunseri's third career shutout; he made 10 stops in last season's opener in Glenside.

Each team had a chance to score in the second overtime off corner kicks. Derrick Brewer took a hard shot in the 102nd that was blocked by a Pacer defender. He headed the rebound wide of net. Freshman Marco Aguado headed a corner kick high in the 108th.

Arcadia held an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal; however, the Pacers outshot the Knights by a 23-18 margin. Marywood held a commanding 11-3 lead in corner kicks.

The Pacers take the field again on Sunday to host Wilkes University at 2:00 pm.
